Ingredients
Wet Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dry Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Additions:
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
- Incorporate Dry Ingredients: Sift in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir until just combined.
- Add Blueberries: Gently fold in blueberries and chocolate chips if desired.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the pan, spread evenly, and bake for 25–30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before slicing.
Notes
- Frozen blueberries can be used without thawing.
