Description

Indulge in the rich, fudgy goodness of Blueberry Brownies, a delightful twist on classic chocolate treats. These moist brownies are studded with bursts of fresh blueberries and can be optionally enhanced with mini chocolate chips for an extra layer of decadence.

Ingredients

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Additions:

  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
  3. Incorporate Dry Ingredients: Sift in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir until just combined.
  4. Add Blueberries: Gently fold in blueberries and chocolate chips if desired.
  5. Bake: Pour the batter into the pan, spread evenly, and bake for 25–30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  6. Cool and Serve: Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before slicing.

Notes

  • Frozen blueberries can be used without thawing.
  • For added flavor, swirl blueberry jam on top before baking.
