Description

Indulge in the ultimate treat with these Biscoff Cookie Butter Cinnamon Rolls. Soft, fluffy rolls filled with spiced cinnamon and luscious Biscoff cookie butter, topped with a creamy Biscoff-infused frosting. Perfect for a gourmet breakfast or a decadent dessert.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 3/4 cup warm whole milk
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Filling

  • 3/4 cup Biscoff cookie butter spread
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

Frosting

  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Biscoff cookie butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Activate Yeast: In a large bowl, combine the warm milk and active dry yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until the mixture becomes foamy, indicating the yeast is active.
  2. Mix Dough: Whisk in granulated sugar, melted butter, and the egg until smooth. Then, add the all-purpose flour, salt, and ground cinnamon. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead Dough: Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 8 to 10 minutes until it is smooth and elastic. Then place it in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
  4. Prepare Filling: Roll the dough out into a large rectangle. Spread the softened butter evenly over the dough, followed by the Biscoff cookie butter. Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon evenly on top.
  5. Form Rolls: Roll the dough tightly into a log shape. Cut this log into 9 even rolls and place them into a greased baking dish. Cover and let the rolls rise for an additional 30 minutes.
  6. Bake Rolls: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 25 to 30 minutes until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Make Frosting: While the rolls bake, beat together the softened cream cheese, softened butter, powdered sugar, Biscoff cookie butter, vanilla extract, and milk until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  8. Frost and Serve: Spread the prepared frosting over the warm cinnamon rolls right after baking. Serve immediately for the best taste and texture.

Notes

  • For extra indulgence, drizzle additional warmed Biscoff cookie butter over the frosted rolls.
  • These rolls can be prepared the night before and baked fresh in the morning for convenience.
