Ingredients
Meat & Seasoning
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Wrap & Toppings
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup pickles, sliced
- 1/4 cup Big Mac sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Sauté Onions: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté for about 2 minutes or until softened, building the flavor base for the beef mixture.
- Cook Beef: Add the ground beef to the skillet. Use a spoon to break it apart and cook for 7-8 minutes until completely browned and cooked through.
- Season Beef: Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to let the spices meld with the beef, then remove from heat.
- Warm Tortillas: While the beef cools slightly, warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until soft and pliable, making them easier to roll.
- Assemble Wraps: Spread Big Mac sauce in the center of each tortilla. Layer with shredded lettuce, the seasoned beef mixture, shredded cheddar cheese, pickles, and shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Roll Wraps: Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll tightly into a wrap shape to hold all the fillings together.
- Toast Wraps: Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the wraps seam side down. Toast for 2-3 minutes on each side until wraps are golden brown and crispy, helping to melt the cheese inside.
- Serve: Slice each wrap in half and serve immediately while warm and crispy for the best texture and flavor experience.
Notes
- You can use store-bought Big Mac sauce or make your own by mixing mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, mustard, garlic powder, and paprika.
- For a lower-carb option, substitute the flour tortillas with lettuce wraps or low-carb tortillas.
- Ensure the skillet is well-heated before toasting to achieve a golden, crispy exterior.
- Feel free to customize toppings by adding tomatoes or extra pickles to suit your taste.
