Description

Big Mac Wraps offer a delicious and convenient twist on the classic fast-food favorite by wrapping all the iconic flavors of a Big Mac into a warm, handheld tortilla. Featuring seasoned ground beef, crisp lettuce, pickles, shredded cheddar cheese, and tangy Thousand Island dressing, these wraps are perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a casual meal that everyone will love.

Ingredients

Meat and Seasoning

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup diced white onion

Other Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced pickles
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing (or Big Mac-style sauce)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Add Onions: Stir in the diced white onion and continue cooking for 2–3 minutes until the onions soften.
  3. Warm the Tortillas: Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until they are pliable and easy to roll.
  4. Assemble the Wraps: Lay each tortilla flat and spread about 2 tablespoons of Thousand Island dressing in the center. Add a layer of shredded lettuce, then the cooked ground beef mixture, followed by diced pickles and shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Roll the Wraps: Roll the tortilla tightly like a burrito, tucking in the sides as you go to keep the filling secure.
  6. Toast the Wraps: For added flavor and texture, toast the wrapped burrito seam-side down in a dry skillet over medium heat for 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown.
  7. Serve: Slice the wraps in half and serve warm for the best taste and texture.

Notes

  • You can substitute the ground beef with ground turkey or plant-based crumbles for a healthier or vegetarian option.
  • For a more authentic Big Mac flavor, prepare your own sauce using mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, and a dash of vinegar.
  • Toast the wraps briefly to add a crispy texture and help seal them.
  • Use large, sturdy tortillas to prevent tearing when rolling.
