Indulge in these Better Than Anything Bars for a decadent treat that combines the rich flavors of chocolate, caramel, and toffee in one delicious dessert.
Ingredients
Cake Base:
- 1 box (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
Toppings:
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
- 1/2 cup toffee bits
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix Cake Base: In a large bowl, combine cake mix, melted butter, and egg to form a thick dough.
- Layer and Bake: Press two-thirds of the dough into the pan, bake for 10 minutes, then add condensed milk, caramel sauce, toffee bits, and chocolate chips. Crumble remaining dough on top.
- Bake Again: Bake for 25–28 minutes until set and golden. Cool, drizzle with caramel, chill, and slice.
Notes
- For a richer taste, use dark chocolate chips or sprinkle sea salt on top.
- Store bars in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for a month.
