- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Red or pink food coloring (optional)
Strawberry Cream Cheese Frosting:
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 3 ½ cups powdered sugar
- ⅓ cup pureed fresh strawberries
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans or line with parchment paper.
