- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream the ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter until light and fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla: Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until combined.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Combine wet and dry: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Shape and bake: Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough, roll into balls, place on baking sheets, press with a fork, and bake for 9–11 minutes.
