Ingredients
Dinner Rolls:
- 4 cups all-purpose flour (plus extra if needed)
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk (about 110°F)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
For Brushing:
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until foamy. Add butter, egg, salt, and flour gradually. Knead until smooth.
- Rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, let rise for an hour until doubled.
