Description

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1.5 to 2 lbs chicken (breasts, thighs, or drumsticks)


Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, garlic, oregano, paprika, and black pepper.
  2. Place chicken in a resealable bag or dish and pour the marinade over it. Ensure all pieces are coated. Marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, up to 8 hours.
  3. Remove chicken from the fridge 15-20 minutes before cooking. Preheat your grill, oven, or skillet.
