Ingredients
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1.5 to 2 lbs chicken (breasts, thighs, or drumsticks)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, garlic, oregano, paprika, and black pepper.
- Place chicken in a resealable bag or dish and pour the marinade over it. Ensure all pieces are coated. Marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, up to 8 hours.
- Remove chicken from the fridge 15-20 minutes before cooking. Preheat your grill, oven, or skillet.
- Grill over medium heat, bake at 400°F, or pan-sear until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
