Description

These Best Beef and Cheese Burritos are a delicious and satisfying meal that the whole family will love. Packed with seasoned ground beef, refried beans, and melted cheese, these burritos are easy to make and perfect for a quick dinner.


Ingredients

For the Beef Filling:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup beef broth or water

Additional Ingredients:

  • 1 (15-ounce) can refried beans
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas (burrito size)
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, guacamole, chopped cilantro


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef Filling: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook onions until soft, then add garlic and cook briefly. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in tomato paste, cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Assemble the Burritos: Warm refried beans. Spread beans on tortillas, top with beef mixture and cheese. Roll up the burritos.
  3. Crisp the Burritos: In a skillet, cook burritos seam-side down until golden.
  4. Serve: Serve hot with desired toppings.

Notes
