- 2 packs instant ramen noodles (discard seasoning)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 pound flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced against the grain
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook Ramen Noodles: Prepare ramen noodles according to package instructions, discarding the seasoning packets. Drain and set aside.
- Sear Beef: Season sliced beef with salt and pepper. Sear in a hot skillet for 2–3 minutes per side, then set aside.
- Stir-Fry Broccoli: In the same pan, stir-fry broccoli until crisp-tender. Add garlic and ginger, cook until fragrant.
- Make Sauce: Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, and cornstarch slurry.
- Combine Ingredients: Return beef to the pan with cooked noodles. Pour in the sauce, toss to coat and heat through.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
