Description

This Beef and Broccoli Ramen Stir Fry is a delicious and easy-to-make Asian-inspired dish that combines tender slices of beef, crisp broccoli, and chewy ramen noodles in a savory sauce. Perfect for a quick weeknight meal!

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 2 packs instant ramen noodles (discard seasoning)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 pound flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced against the grain
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook Ramen Noodles: Prepare ramen noodles according to package instructions, discarding the seasoning packets. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sear Beef: Season sliced beef with salt and pepper. Sear in a hot skillet for 2–3 minutes per side, then set aside.
  3. Stir-Fry Broccoli: In the same pan, stir-fry broccoli until crisp-tender. Add garlic and ginger, cook until fragrant.
  4. Make Sauce: Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, and cornstarch slurry.
  5. Combine Ingredients: Return beef to the pan with cooked noodles. Pour in the sauce, toss to coat and heat through.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Notes:

  • You can substitute chicken or tofu for the beef.
  • For extra heat, add sriracha or red pepper flakes.
  • Frozen broccoli works well, just thaw before using.
