Crispy and flavorful, these Basic Cauliflower Fritters are a delightful vegetarian side dish or snack option. Packed with cauliflower and seasoned with herbs and Parmesan, these fritters are easy to make and perfect for a light meal.
Ingredients
Cauliflower Fritters:
- 1 medium head cauliflower (cut into florets)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- 2–3 tablespoons olive oil for frying
Instructions
- Prepare Cauliflower: Boil cauliflower florets in salted water until fork-tender. Drain and mash in a bowl.
- Mix Batter: Add eggs, flour, Parmesan, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and parsley to the mashed cauliflower. Mix until combined.
- Fry Fritters: Heat olive oil in a skillet. Spoon batter into the skillet, flatten, and cook until golden on both sides.
- Serve: Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
Notes
- You can use almond flour for a gluten-free version.
- Serve with sour cream, Greek yogurt, or a dipping sauce of your choice.
