Description

Crispy and flavorful, these Basic Cauliflower Fritters are a delightful vegetarian side dish or snack option. Packed with cauliflower and seasoned with herbs and Parmesan, these fritters are easy to make and perfect for a light meal.


Ingredients

Cauliflower Fritters:

  • 1 medium head cauliflower (cut into florets)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • 23 tablespoons olive oil for frying


Instructions

  1. Prepare Cauliflower: Boil cauliflower florets in salted water until fork-tender. Drain and mash in a bowl.
  2. Mix Batter: Add eggs, flour, Parmesan, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and parsley to the mashed cauliflower. Mix until combined.
  3. Fry Fritters: Heat olive oil in a skillet. Spoon batter into the skillet, flatten, and cook until golden on both sides.
  4. Serve: Drain on paper towels and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use almond flour for a gluten-free version.
  • Serve with sour cream, Greek yogurt, or a dipping sauce of your choice.
