These Bang Bang Chicken Sliders are a delicious twist on the classic appetizer. Tender, spicy chicken topped with creamy coleslaw, all served in a soft bun.

Ingredients

For the Bang Bang Chicken:

  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice

For Assembly:

  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 cup coleslaw mix
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • butter for toasting buns

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Bang Bang Chicken: In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice. Add shredded chicken, stir to coat.
  2. Toast the Buns: Lightly toast slider buns in a skillet with butter until golden.
  3. Assemble: Place bang bang chicken on bottom bun, top with coleslaw, green onions, sesame seeds, and top bun.
  4. Serve: Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for a quick shortcut.
  • Adjust sriracha for preferred heat level.
  • Enhance with pickles or avocado.
