Ingredients

For the Cake:

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt

For the Cream Cheese Frosting:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare the cake batter: Cream together butter and sugars, add eggs and mashed bananas, mix in vanilla and sour cream. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture.
