Ingredients
For the Cake:
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs

- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Prepare the cake batter: Cream together butter and sugars, add eggs and mashed bananas, mix in vanilla and sour cream. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture.
- Bake the cake: Pour batter into the baking dish, smooth the top, and bake for 30–35 minutes. Cool the cake before frosting.
- Make the cream cheese frosting: Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth, gradually add powdered sugar, mix in vanilla, and beat until fluffy. Spread frosting on the cooled cake.
