A comforting and hearty baked spaghetti dish layered with creamy cheese, savory beef marinara, and gooey mozzarella, perfect for a cozy family dinner.
Ingredients
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 lb ground beef
- 24 oz marinara sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream. Mix until smooth.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add marinara sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning to the beef. Simmer for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a large baking dish, layer half of the cooked spaghetti. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the spaghetti, then top with half of the meat sauce and a layer of mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers once more.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly. Let it rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
