Description

A comforting and hearty baked spaghetti dish layered with creamy cheese, savory beef marinara, and gooey mozzarella, perfect for a cozy family dinner.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream. Mix until smooth.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add marinara sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning to the beef. Simmer for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. In a large baking dish, layer half of the cooked spaghetti. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the spaghetti, then top with half of the meat sauce and a layer of mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers once more.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly. Let it rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Customize with sautéed vegetables like spinach, mushrooms, or zucchini.
  • Substitute ground beef with ground turkey, sausage, or plant-based meat.
  • Use ricotta or cottage cheese for variation in the creamy layer.
  • Top with fresh basil, parsley, or red pepper flakes for added flavor.
