Description

These Avocado Chicken Wraps are a delicious and healthy meal option that is easy to make and perfect for lunch or a light dinner. Creamy avocado, tender chicken, and crisp vegetables are wrapped in a soft tortilla for a satisfying bite.


Ingredients

Avocado Chicken Filling:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or chopped
  • 1 ripe avocado, diced
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion

Wraps:

  • 4 large flour tortillas or whole wheat wraps
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes


Instructions

  1. Prepare Avocado Chicken Filling: In a medium bowl, mash the avocado with Greek yogurt, lime juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until mostly smooth. Add the chicken, cilantro, and red onion to the bowl and stir until well combined.
  2. Assemble Wraps: Warm the tortillas slightly. Lay out each tortilla and layer with shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes. Spoon the avocado chicken mixture evenly into each wrap.
  3. Roll: Fold in the sides and roll tightly into a wrap. Slice in half if desired.
  4. Serve: Serve immediately or wrap in foil for later.

Notes

  • You can substitute Greek yogurt with mayonnaise or sour cream if preferred.
  • Add jalapeño slices or hot sauce for extra heat.
