- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
- Prepare cake batter: Cream butter and brown sugar, then add eggs, vanilla, and applesauce. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients.
- Bake: Pour batter into the baking dish and bake for 30–35 minutes. Let it cool.
