Ingredients

Dry Ingredients:

  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Mix-ins:

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the oats, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. Cream butter and sugars: In a large bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add wet ingredients: Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, mixing until combined.
  5. Combine dry and wet ingredients: Gradually stir in the dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.
