Ingredients
Main Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 lbs boneless pork chops or pork shoulder, cut into chunks
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup green beans (fresh or frozen)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp ground sage
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Additional Ingredients:
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream or milk
- 2 tbsp flour (optional, for thickening)
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Sear the Pork: Heat oil in a Dutch oven, sear pork until browned. Set aside.
- Sauté Aromatics: Sauté onion and garlic until softened.
- Cook Stew: Return pork, add vegetables, herbs, salt, pepper, broth. Simmer covered for 40-45 minutes.
