Description
These Air Fryer Snickers Pastries are a quick and delicious treat made by wrapping pieces of Snickers candy bars in crescent roll dough, then air frying them to golden perfection. A perfect combination of sweet, gooey chocolate and caramel inside a crispy, buttery pastry shell, finished with an optional dusting of powdered sugar for extra sweetness.
Ingredients
Pastry
- 1 crescent roll sheet
Filling
- 2 full-size Snickers candy bars
Additional
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- Powdered sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Air Fryer Basket: Line your air fryer basket with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
- Cut Dough and Snickers: Lay the crescent roll sheet flat on a nonstick surface and use a pizza cutter to divide it into 9 equal squares. Cut each Snickers candy bar into three pieces to match the number of dough squares.
- Wrap Snickers Pieces: Place each Snickers piece onto a dough square and wrap the dough around it, pinching the ends together to completely seal the candy inside the dough pocket.
- Arrange in Basket: Place the wrapped Snickers parcels in the prepared air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching. Depending on your air fryer size, you may need to cook them in multiple batches.
- Brush with Butter: Brush the tops of each wrapped Snickers with the melted butter to help them brown beautifully.
- Air Fry: Cook in the air fryer at 370°F (190°C) for 5 minutes or until the pastries are golden brown and crisp.
- Optional Serving: Once cooked, you may dust the pastries lightly with powdered sugar before serving for an added touch of sweetness.
Notes
- Make sure to seal the dough completely to avoid any melted chocolate or caramel leaking during cooking.
- Cooking times may vary slightly depending on your air fryer model; keep an eye to avoid over-browning.
- For easier slicing, slightly chill the Snickers bars before cutting.
- These pastries are best served warm for a gooey, melty center.
- If you don’t have parchment paper, lightly oil the air fryer basket instead to prevent sticking.
