Description

Delicious and easy Air Fryer Sliders featuring juicy seasoned beef patties topped with melted American cheese, complemented by buttery toasted buns and a tangy homemade slider sauce. Perfect for quick gatherings, game day, or a tasty snack.

Ingredients

For the Sliders

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 slices deli style American cheese
  • 8 slider buns
  • 2-3 tablespoons butter

For the Sauce

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Patties: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke (if using), seasoned salt, and garlic powder. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and flatten each into slider-sized patties.
  2. Cook the Patties in Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer without overlapping. Cook for 8-10 minutes until they are cooked through, flipping halfway if needed.
  3. Melt Cheese and Toast Buns: Cut each slice of American cheese in half. Place cheese halves on top of each patty and return to the air fryer for an additional 1-2 minutes to melt the cheese. Meanwhile, spread butter on the slider buns and toast them until golden brown, either in a skillet or in the air fryer.
  4. Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and white vinegar. Season with garlic salt and chili powder to taste. Adjust seasoning as preferred.
  5. Assemble the Sliders: Spread the prepared sauce on the toasted buns, place the cheesy beef patties on the bottom halves, then top with the bun tops. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For juicier sliders, avoid over-mixing the beef when combining ingredients.
  • Liquid smoke is optional but adds a nice smoky flavor if you like.
  • Adjust seasoning in the sauce to your taste preferences.
  • The sliders can be customized with additional toppings like pickles, onions, or lettuce if desired.
  • Cooking times may vary depending on your air fryer model; check for doneness accordingly.
