Description

These air fryer imitation crab bites are a delightful seafood appetizer that’s crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Perfect for parties or as a snack, these bites are easy to make and full of flavor.

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound imitation crab meat, shredded
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded imitation crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, green onions, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, egg, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form the Bites: Shape the mixture into small bite-sized balls and place them on a greased air fryer basket.
  3. Cook in the Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and air fry the crab bites in batches for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Make the Sauce: While the crab bites are cooking, mix together the melted butter and parsley to create a dipping sauce.
  5. Serve: Once the crab bites are done, serve them hot with the parsley butter sauce on the side.

Notes

Notes:

  • Feel free to adjust the seasonings to suit your taste preferences.
  • These crab bites can also be baked in a traditional oven if you don’t have an air fryer.
