Ingredients
- 1 cup imitation crab meat, chopped
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix chopped imitation crab, cream cheese, green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce until fully combined.
- Form the mixture into small balls, about walnut-sized. Chill for 10–15 minutes if too sticky to shape.
- Beat egg in one bowl and place panko in another. Dip each crab ball in egg, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes. Arrange bites in the basket in a single layer. Spray generously with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden and crisp.
- Cool slightly before serving with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
- To use real crab, ensure it’s well-drained and flaked before mixing.
- Try gluten-free panko and imitation crab for a GF version.
- Serve with sriracha mayo, cocktail sauce, or sweet chili sauce.
- Keep warm in a 200°F oven if serving a large batch.
