Description

Air Fryer Cod features flaky, tender cod fillets with a golden, seasoned crust—an easy, healthy, and restaurant-quality seafood recipe that comes together in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 4 fresh cod fillets (56 oz each)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat cod fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. Brush both sides with olive oil.
  3. Season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Place fillets in the basket in a single layer; cook 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway if needed, until cod flakes easily and is golden.
  6. Remove and squeeze lemon juice over fillets; garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Spritz the air fryer basket lightly with oil to prevent sticking.
  • Thaw frozen cod completely and pat dry before cooking.
  • Try alternative seasonings: Old Bay, lemon zest, chili powder, or Italian herbs.
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the air fryer at 375°F for 3–4 minutes to crisp back up.
