Description
Air Fryer Cod features flaky, tender cod fillets with a golden, seasoned crust—an easy, healthy, and restaurant-quality seafood recipe that comes together in minutes.
Ingredients
- 4 fresh cod fillets (5–6 oz each)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Pat cod fillets dry with paper towels.
- Brush both sides with olive oil.
- Season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place fillets in the basket in a single layer; cook 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway if needed, until cod flakes easily and is golden.
- Remove and squeeze lemon juice over fillets; garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
- Spritz the air fryer basket lightly with oil to prevent sticking.
- Thaw frozen cod completely and pat dry before cooking.
- Try alternative seasonings: Old Bay, lemon zest, chili powder, or Italian herbs.
- Leftovers can be reheated in the air fryer at 375°F for 3–4 minutes to crisp back up.
