Description

These Air Fryer Cheeseburger Wraps are a quick and delicious twist on classic cheeseburgers, combining seasoned ground beef, melted cheddar cheese, and crisp tortillas cooked to perfection in the air fryer. Perfect for an easy weeknight meal or game day snack, they’re flavorful, cheesy, and have a satisfying crunch.

Ingredients

Meat Mixture

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Wrap Assembly

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 large flour tortillas
  • Ketchup and mustard, for serving
  • Optional: pickles, lettuce, tomato slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer. Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) so it’s ready for cooking your wraps.
  2. Cook the beef mixture. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onions until the beef is browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat to keep the wraps from being greasy.
  3. Season the beef. Add garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the cooked meat, stirring well to evenly distribute the flavors.
  4. Assemble the wraps. Lay out the flour tortillas on a flat surface and evenly divide the cooked beef mixture onto each tortilla.
  5. Add cheese. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef on each tortilla for delicious melty cheesiness.
  6. Roll up the tortillas. Tightly roll each tortilla to enclose the beef and cheese into a secure wrap.
  7. Arrange in air fryer. Place the wraps seam side down inside the air fryer basket. If needed, cook in batches to avoid overcrowding.
  8. Air fry the wraps. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes until the tortillas are crispy and the cheese inside has melted.
  9. Serve. Remove the wraps carefully and serve warm with ketchup, mustard, and optional toppings like pickles, lettuce, or tomato slices for a classic cheeseburger flavor experience.

Notes

  • You can customize these wraps by adding your favorite cheeseburger toppings inside before rolling, like pickles, lettuce, or tomato slices.
  • Make sure to drain the cooked beef well to prevent soggy wraps.
  • For a lower-carb option, try using low-carb or whole wheat tortillas.
  • If your air fryer basket is small, cook the wraps in batches to ensure even crisping.
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the air fryer for a few minutes to restore crispness.
