Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Wash, peel, and slice or cube all desired fruits and herbs according to the specific combinations for each infused water recipe.
- Combine Ingredients: In a large pitcher, place the chosen combination of fruits and herbs. This allows the natural flavors to infuse into the water.
- Add Ice: Fill the pitcher with ice cubes to keep the infused water chilled and refreshing.
- Fill with Water: Pour cold water into the pitcher, filling it to the top.
- Infuse: Let the water sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld beautifully. For stronger flavor, infuse overnight.
- Serve: Stir gently before serving and pour the infused water over ice as desired. Refill with water up to two times using the same fruits before discarding.
Notes
- Use fresh or frozen fruits as preferred; frozen fruits also help chill the water.
- For best flavor, allow the water to infuse at least 30 minutes before drinking.
- Infused water is best consumed within 24-48 hours for freshness.
- You can mix and match fruits and herbs to create your own combinations.
- Reuse fruits for a second pitcher; the flavors will be lighter.
