Description

A refreshing and nutrient-packed 4‑ingredient green juice made with spinach, cucumber, green apple, and lemon—bright, simple, and easy to enjoy any time of day.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cucumber (peeled if waxed)
  • 1 green apple, cored and quartered
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced (peeled or unpeeled based on juicer)

Instructions

  1. Rinse spinach thoroughly. Peel cucumber if needed. Core green apple and cut into pieces. Halve lemon.
  2. Juice spinach, cucumber, apple, and lemon in a juicer in that order. Or blend with a splash of water, then strain through cheesecloth or fine mesh.
  3. Taste and adjust: add more lemon for brightness or extra apple for sweetness.
  4. Serve over ice or chill before drinking. Shake or stir before serving to mix separation.

Notes

  • Garnish with a cucumber wheel, lemon twist, mint leaf, or sprinkle of chia seeds.
  • Pair with avocado toast, overnight oats, yogurt parfait, or almonds for a light meal.
  • Pour into small bottles or serve in shot glasses for a brunch-friendly presentation.
  • Store juice in an airtight glass container up to 24 hours; shake before drinking.
  • Freeze in ice cube trays for smoothie boosters or to preserve juice longer.
  • Use green apples like Granny Smith for tartness or sweeter varieties like Fuji for a milder flavor.
  • You can add extras like kale, celery, parsley, pear, or coconut water, but stick to 4 ingredients if you prefer the original blend.
  • When reheating needed (from frozen), simply thaw and chill; never heat green juice.
