SEMOLINA SWEET NUGGETS

SEMOLINA SWEET NUGGETS has very enjoyable taste. First we have to prepare SOOJI HALWA/PRASADAM  which i have shown earlier, then we have to cut them into desired shapes and we have to deep fry them. We can do this sweet during festival time …. 

Ingredients:
  1. Semolina  – 1 cup
  2. Sugar  – 1 ½ cup
  3. Milk or water  – 3 cups(you can add both also like half milk and half water)
  4. Ghee  – 4 tbsp
  5. Cashews, almonds
  6. Oil for deep frying
  7. Maida – For coating
  8. Pinch of salt
Preparation Method:
  • Take a kadai on stove add ghee after ghee gets hot add cashews and add almonds. 
  • After dry fruits got little golden color add semolina and fry until it gets little golden color.
  • Now add milk, stir continuously while adding milk.

  • Add sugar after mixture started getting bubbles.

  • Stir continuously until the sweet gets thickened.

  • Now you can switch off the flame.
  • Transfer the sweet into a ghee greased plate.

  • After it was cooled cut them into desired shapes.

  • Keep oil for deep frying.
  • In a bowl add maida, pinch of salt & sugar and mix like a semi thick liquid with the help of water.

  • After oil got heated (when you drop the sweet it should come up in couple of seconds).
  • Now dip each nugget shape into this and fry into the oil.

  • Add nuggets one by one and fry (while frying if you stir continuously then all nuggets will get even color) them until they got little golden color.
